lucky 15.

every morning--well, almost every morning, not very often on sundays--i do 15 pushups plank-style as soon as i roll out of bed to get me started for the day. like most exercise, it's not exactly fun while i'm doing it and sometimes it's downright miserable but i always feel better after, and my arms and back are proof.

pushups are one of those exercises that i can see results fairly quickly and that's motivation in and of itself.

In our SF ward, the bishop was a nurse practitioner and in one of his lessons about staying healthy in all areas of our life, he told us that doing pushups is the best exercise if you don't have much time. He then challenged us to do 20 a day. I do mine on my knees but you've inspired me to start doing one or two plank and hopefully someday I'll be up to 15.
